What is Reiki?

Reiki is a universal force of divine healing, a sacred energy that exists in all livings things.  It is also called the “chi” or “prana,”

In the practice of Reiki, universal life force is channeled through the hands of an experienced practitioner to deliver healing and balancing of the energy system or chakras. Reiki promotes wellness to the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual aspects of our being.

Having a historical background in Buddhism, the practice of Reiki was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early 1900's. Today, Reiki is practiced all over the world as a therapy to assist in the clearing of any mental, emotional, physical or spiritual blockages.

Reiki also heightens spiritual awareness and contributes to the development of our intuition.  Reiki is not related to any religious belief. This sacred healing practice can be incorporated with any belief system.

What is a Reiki treatment?

A Reiki treatment involves the practitioner channeling the Reiki energy to the client. Usually the client lies down fully clothed on a massage table. Energy is transferred from the hands of the practitioner to the client with by the practitioner placing their hands above the client’s body, or by the gentle placement of the hands. The practitioner works on the body from the top of the head down to the feet. The client usually receives Reiki on both the front and back of the body. Some healers work on the chakras, some work completely from head to toe. There is no massage or manipulation in a Reiki session.  It is a completely spiritual therapy.

Gary is an Ananta Reiki Master and Teacher, since 2004, and has been a Reiki practioner since 1993, having received my first training in Usui Reiki..

He uses Reiki in conjunction with Intuitive and Transformational Coaching.

Reiki sessions can be done in distance healing by phone, or in person in the San Diego area.

Reiki sessions are:
Full One Hour Sessions - $90 (in person sessions are one hour long)
One Half Hour - $50
